Probably one of the most disturbing books that I yet am thankful to have read would have to be,
Eyes of the Tailless Animals: Prison Memoirs of a North Korean Woman by
Soon Ok Lee. It is hard to believe that atrocities like those documented here still take place today, but I am thankful for the reminder of the depravity of man and the utter foolishness of those moral relativists who would say that objective evil does not exist. I would commend a reading of this book as it is will draw you to prayer for those living in North Korea as well as call you to extreme thankfulness if you are living in a free nation.
