Must Have Dashboard Widgets

I am a huge Mac guy as most of you know by now. Anyone who thinks their PC is better needs to repent and get saved.

One of the Mac features that I have not really used that much is The Dashboard. It looks really cool, but I just don't find myself gravitating towards its use. I might start though in light of this post: 12 must-have Dashboard widgets for the average Mac user.

There is also a follow-up post: 8 more must-have Dashboard widgets for the average Mac user

I found some of these widgets provide functions that are quite useful. If you are a Mac person, you might want to check it out.

I'll try some of these out. I switched to a mac in January when I had to get a computer, and though I've been super happy about that change, the widgets is one of the few things I haven't really gotten used to.

re repenting -
I use both, a pc at home and a macbook from work.

I like both, the mac book is definately slower on gmail but much quicker on everything else. I do find it awkward to use sometime though - sorry.

But the 2 biggest obstacles to me inviting Steve Jobs into my heart are the religious fervour that many mac users seem to have (which seems to go far beyond a strongly held preference) and the corresponding attitude towards 'unbelievers'. I know your comment was in tongue in cheek, so I mean no criticism.

My 2nd stumbling block though is the view I often encounter that apple is the uber-cool musicians friend when surely (through i-tunes and their pitiful 9c royalty on downloads) they are exploiting musicians far more comprehensively than any major label record company would have dreamed was possible.

Maybe you have no sympathy for my first point, but i'd be interested to hear your take on the second, as a musician...
