Jesus Camp

What are we supposed to make of this? What do you think is the appropriate response? The more I watch this trailer the more disturbing it is...

That is very disturbing to me...i'm not sure what to make of it. Sure, the camp seems a bit over the top...but it's not much different than sunday school classrooms which simply have kids regurgitate what the teacher tells them. is it? i think that's the most disturbing part. also, that kid who seemed to be preaching....(w/ the long rat tail/mullet thing)...i wonder where he will be in 5 or 10 years. One of the most sincere atheists i know was a kid-preacher like that. He was actually my college professor. He has the entire Bible memorized...but is so set against the church and God. The sad thing is he knows more about the bible than most dedicated Christians in the world. in any event..i'm not sure how to respond to this.

The fatigues are kind of cool.

I'm not sure what to make of this. It is disturbing. I'd like to ask myself if this is for real. Parts of it reminds me of the TV preachers like Benny Hinn. And kid preachers...don't get me started

For me, the most disturbing thing was the mullet.

Z- Thanks for posting this and for your response on my blog. I just posted a longer response to why I think the approach I see in this video is misguided. I'll put the link to my blog rather than the whole thing here b/c it’s a bit long for a "comment":
