Prince and The Foo

I a recent blogpost about Prince's halftime show of the Super Bowl, I was rather perplexed as to why he covered a Foo Fighters song. Here is a potential answer, or at least more info on the situation. I think the answer lies in the fact that Prince is just plain weird.
