Ya - you can save a LOT of money when eating out by having water. Some places are charging $2.49 for a soda now! We usually get water with lots of lemon or limes in it. I'm to the point where I actually enjoy it and like it better now than a soda, and I was pretty much living off of diet coke two meals a day (coffee for breakfast) and diet cokes in between. Lowering the caffiene/sodium intake has really helped me in many aspects.
Z, great post. Replacing pop with water is one of many ways one can see the "ADvice" of corporate america and give it the middle finger instead of getting hypnotized like the rest of this world's eager-to-fit-in suckers.
I think you're a few years behind me on this realization, but glad to have you out of the lemming stampede.
When are you giving up on name brands and the latest fashion farts? I'm not all the way there yet, but am working on it.
