My friend Mitch from Covenant made that point awhile back in a conversation we were having about the abortion issue. As Christians we are pro-life, and that means we protect the lives of babies in the womb and people outside of it (and all the issues that entails: just war, environmental issues, etc. Mike Huckabee sounds a-okay in my book.

Huckabee is definitely growing on me and all that he said rings so true. I would like to hear him expand on how being pro-life then effects policy... especially the 'hot' ones...

immigration. health care. war.

How in those issues, American citizen or not, do we not 'devalue human life'? Because I believe those issues not only effect us as Americans but the world.

Should we then not stand up for and shout 'that aint right!', when we see the value of human life being taken away? In so many place around the world, our American government either turns a blind eye or worse one branch will name the problem then do little or nothing to motive change.

I once called myself pro-life because I stood against abortion, yet then could easily support the death penalty and 'just' war. I don't know how it happened but some where along the line, it dawned on me how two faced I was. Since all life is sacred, even that of enemies. Being Pro-Life is so much more than we often make it out to be.

'It should never be acceptable to us, that people are treated as expendable. Any people.'

Well, put Mr. Huckabee.
