Sacred Vapor with
some good spiritual reflections (and a bit of jazz history) on the legendary album,
Kind of Blue by Miles Davis. If you call yourself a musician and you don't own this record there is a fundamental disconnect present in your being. Buy it!

By the way, if you dig Davis and trumpeters from this era, you might try to get your hands on some Clifford Brown. Brown died young (around 25) in an automobile accident with Bud Powell's brother. By some accounts if he had lived we'd all be saying "Miles who?" I especially appreciate the disc "Clifford Brown with Strings." Sweet listenin.
