May we rejoice in God's work in this brother's life.“Do you believe in transformation?” That’s the question being asked in this interview with former porn producer Donny Pauling. After a short introductory message by pastor Jake Larson of Arcade Baptist Church, Donny talks about his Christian upbringing, his reasons for rejecting Christianity and his active hatred for Christians, his involvement and life in the porn industry, and finally his spiritual transformation. It’s a riveting (and sometimes disturbing) testimony. There’s a shorter text version of the interview as well.
Pauling now works closely with the XXXChurch team, and writes periodically for a blog about the porn industry at the XXXChurch website. Much of his message focuses on the damage that porn does not just to porn consumers, but to the people working in the industry.

Porn is a wicked lie, harming everyone who watches it and/or participates in it. I deeply rejoice that God has graciously brought this brother out of darkness and into the light of the Gospel-- which is the *only* way that we can ever really see sexuality rightly. Any other way of seeing it results in some mutation of true sexuality. How easily Satan can deceive though! God, give pastors and elders the courage to speak from the pulpit (even on Sunday mornings) on this issue in our churches! I understand that there issues of circumspection involved (if small children are present at the time, one must be careful with wording), but this is a spiritual plague, and it must be preached and fought against with God's word-- both publically *and* privately. I thank and praise God that He used His truth to save and remove one more person from the deceit of pornography.
