I have done mission work in Haiti and have seen the terrible poverty and hunger. Every American should visit Cite Soleil sometime in their life. Some of the kids get a banana or a cup of rice and beans every other day with a dirt supplement. You don't ask what they had for supper, you ask when was the last time they ate. They also wash and cook in the same water they use as a latrine. Our kids complain about what kind of add ins are available to put in their ice cream at Cold Stone.
