I just got the new Mac OS 10.5 Leopard. It's pretty dang cool. You can see all the new stuff here. If you are Mac user (any sane person should be) and have not upgraded, you should consider it.
Good for you - there are indeed a lot of nice features in 10.5. I upgraded the day it came out (and have the geek tshirt to prove it), from 10.3, because I had just got a rocking awesome deal on PhotoShop CS3, but I had to have 10.4+ to use it.
I will say, my machine runs slower (G5 iMac) and Time Machine is quirky at random times. I think all in all my Mac was more stable using 10.3. There are some days 10.5 has been reminiscent of XP, but thats probably because the G5 has a hard time handling all the extra behinds-the-scene stuff, especially when you're doing 32bit photo editing (I'm a tight wad and don't want to spend $2,500+ for another Mac right now).
Hopefully you have great success with your 10.5 upgrade!
