As a guy who studies and loves to play jazz I thought it might be time to give a recommendation in that genre. Some people say it just sounds like random noise, or "they don't get it". If you feel that way, today's song might be a good place to start. Miles Davis' Kind of Blue record is a landmark in jazz. If you want to get started with some jazz, this is the record to get. I've chosen to highlight my favorite song from Kind of Blue: Freddie The Freeloader. It's a cool little blues number. Wynton Kelly's swing feel is scary on his piano solo. Check it out below.

couldn't agree more! If you enjoy skat singing you should check out Jon Hendrick's version of this song. http://www.amazon.com/Freddie-Freeloader-Jon-Friends-Hendricks/dp/B0000034UG/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1212459197&sr=8-1
