When Mac Was Not So Cool

Want to see how hip and cool Mac was back in the day? Check out this commercial. Warning: you might throw up in your mouth a bit.

Per the music... Can you say shameless rip off of that one song from Flashdance? (I know I just dated myself. Children of the 80's, you with me?)

I remember how exciting it was to move to the Apple IIe from the Atari 800s, which were better than the Commodore 64, which smoked that old Vic-20 like a cheap cigar.

In high school, we had one of the 1st generation Mackintosh desktops, the monochrome prior to the days of Windows or hip people calling it a "Mac."

Wow ... that was a long time ago.

Somewhere along the line I derailed and got sucked into PC Gehenna.

What a Feeling by Irene Cara is the song to which you refer...just in case you wanted to know if I still rocked at 80s Songburst.

I'd give anything for one of those "Make it Happen" signs.

What can I say, though, this is circa the time when I thought DOS was cool because they came out with "shell". Those were sad days in computing history.

You know Steve Jobs is stoked about this thing getting circulation - not.
