We are going to carve our pumpkins tonight with the kids. My buddy Kyle did this one. I thought it was pretty amazing. I'm just glad he didn't do a Barack O'Lantern.
Man . . . I don't know . . . Christian parents letting their kids celebrate halloween? Carving pumpkins? Images of the evil Joker? Next thing ya know there's going to be Christians voting for Obama. The country is going so downhill.
I know that you're joking; I get the humor. However, given that Obama is *the most* extremely "pro-choice" Presidential candidate from the two major parties that America has ever seen (he wants *no* legal restrictions on abortion), the last sentence that you wrote is, morally speaking, quite accurate.
I am thankful that God is sovereignly in control of all circumstances... but that fact does *not* excuse Christian voters from voting for a man who claims to be a Christian yet wants *no* legal restrictions on abortion. None. We will be held accountable by God for our votes that did nothing to stop the legality of abortion (unborn human person murder)-- and that, in fact, *encouraged* a culture of abortion on demand.
Clarification: When I wrote "does not excuse Christian voters *from,*" what I meant to communicate is, we will not have any excuses before God for voting for such an extremely "pro-choice" (choice to murder!) man.

That's AWESOME!
John C,

Yeah, John, I honestly do think that Christians voting for Obama is very sad. Very sad indeed.
