Without taking sides, but in fairness, and trying to get away from all this partisan attacks on both sides - it seems as if who won the debates (not that it really matters) or who was more or less accurate clearly rests with who you ask and who is commentating. Which generally makes it very confusing for the average voter. All of these guys distort the facts, stretch the truths, use info out of context, will give only half the story, etc. - anything to make the other candidate look bad. And of course, they all make blunders like anyone. But it's all a game basically - they admit that. They're politicians - Masters of BSing you.
Ya, Palin does get ridden a bit harder - however understandably she also has the most she needs to prove in a short amount of time. And she accepted that fact and took that on when she took on the nomination for VP with hardly anyone knowing her. I'm sure none of that is any surprise to her. She knew it would be an uphill battle and a hard one against the media.
In all fairness, it might be worth sighting what's supposed to be a neutral site in evaluating the Palin Biden debate such as http://www.factcheck.org/elections-2008/factchecking_biden-palin_debate.html when talking about facts/errors etc. Unless we all just want to be like the media and candidates themselves and only report half the story line.
I actually once found a factual error on Factcheck.org. Their stated mission is laudable, but they are not always 100% accurate.
man . . . ya can't even trust the internet for facts and truth these days! *grin*
Guess we'll never know the whole truth until Heaven.
