Happy Thanksgiving!

Tell me what you are thankful for today.

Here is what I am thankful for:

1. My salvation in Jesus

2. My loving family that hopefully will be adding a new member next week!

3. My beautiful and sacrificially supportive wife who is a gift from God beyond measure to a guy who is way out of his league.

4. My beautiful children who bring me unspeakable joy.

5. The church where I work that continues to prove to be a divine appointment for me.

Now it's your turn...

I'm chiming in a bit late here (and apparently the only one so far!), but here goes my list of "thanksgivings":

1. Salvation (just like I yelled out when this question was asked at the Well this week!)

2. The Bible, through which, incredibly, God reveals Himself to us!

3. The fact that God is *always* giving me better than what I deserve, including food and shelter!

4. The fact that God works for His elect to redeem all things, including the most painful events.

5. Two words: Tim Bradley! Love you, brother!

6. All of my brothers and sisters in Christ, local (DSC and in other churches), national, and international!

7. Friends who love me as I am and challenge me to grow.

8. People who reach out to me when they could choose not to do so.

9. Increasing opportunities to serve among the body at DSC.

10. The God-given beauty and wonder of human creativity (for example, Shai Linne's new CD)!

I'm thankful that the Lord loved me where I was, but He didn't leave me there.
