he IS in a category all his own. carlos and I play this game where we watch him or Osteen sometimes and time it to see how long it takes for them to read a verse from the bible...sadly our game ends without a single reference most of the time.
First off: This is the first time I've agreed with Benny Hinn. First. Time. Ever.
But I think this serves as a killer example that strict polemic is not enough. You still need to preach the true gospel, which he does not. Polemic and preaching need to go hand in hand.
For those of you who are thinking, "Wow, that's great", you need to continue on to part 2 and especially part 3 of that sermon where he actually starts reading the scripture. It was terrible.

wow... A broken clock is still right twice a day.
I didn't make it to the end. Just couldn't take it any more. Did he happen to say how he was going to apply this text to his own life?
Wow. Irony.
I am totally speechless!!!

I was waiting for the punch-line, which thankfully never came. Wow.
That was actually solid expository preaching. Wow.T

Hmmm, that's what I call a sign and a wonder!
That's the exact place where T4G 2008 met (and where it's scheduled to meet again in 2010)!
