80's Covers
I have always thought that is would be cool to form an 80's cover band and pick classic 80's songs and totally reinvent them for a great live show. Here is a good example of what that could look like.
Bon Iver, doing the classic from The Outfield, "Your Love". Their pitch on this recording is a bit suspect, but give 'em a break, it's a live mix and hardly anyone ever sounds good on a raw, unedited live mix.

Man, for better or worse, I got ya beat on this one. I was IN several 80s cover bands the entire span of the 80s - from HS (1980) through college past that into the 90s! *grin*
