1. Oprah, as usual, stands up for homosexuality by forcing Haggard to say he was sorry, not for sinning against God, but for lying about who he 'really' is inside.
2. Haggard, seemingly repentant (I don't know his heart) bends to Oprah's suggestion, eventually. He never, to my knowledge, during THIS show, comes out and says he was sorry for the sin of homosexuality--although his wife, in stating her opinion that it is a sin, was chastised by Oprah.

I saw this show and had two problems.
1. Oprah, as usual, stands up for homosexuality by forcing Haggard to say he was sorry, not for sinning against God, but for lying about who he 'really' is inside.
2. Haggard, seemingly repentant (I don't know his heart) bends to Oprah's suggestion, eventually. He never, to my knowledge, during THIS show, comes out and says he was sorry for the sin of homosexuality--although his wife, in stating her opinion that it is a sin, was chastised by Oprah.
Just sad.
