Reflections on our Adoption - Part 5

I think it's good from time to time to document evidences of God's grace in our lives. We have been continually amazed at the kingdom ripple that God has created through Mya's adoption:
1. We have received numerous emails from people who have been following the story on this blog and/or Facebook and have been inspired to consider adoption themselves.

2. We have had many conversations with people at church who saw God move mightily in our situation and wondered if they could be called to take the same step of faith towards adoption.

3. I have said this before on this blog, but it's worth mentioning again that seeing God provide financially through his people has been unspeakably encouraging. It's such a blessing for us, but I also rejoice in the kingdom blessing that it provides to the givers as they experience the promise of Acts 20:35 that it is more blessed to give than receive.

4. We have seen this experience become a means to share the gospel. Many people have asked why we choose to do this and its been an easy link to sharing how horizontal adoption is an implication of vertical adoption.

5. We have heard from a few different people as that they are thinking of trying to start an official adoption ministry at their church.
We pray that this kingdom ripple continues to radiate out!

Amen to all five of these ripple effects.

Thanks, Zach, for posting these adoption reflections.
