This is just a stupid debate.

the problem became a problem when God's people made marriage an issue of the government, instead of just a covenant between the couple and their God. we should be fighting against non-Christian marriage in the same way we argue against gay marriage. we walked down the road and now we're paying the consequences.

You can call a tail a leg all you want, and a dog is going to have 4 legs. Calling one thing another does not make it so. Calling a union between two people of the same sexes "married" does not legitimately change the institution which God made!

I agree with Amy. When the State was given the power to grant marriage licenses, this was not foreseen, but it may well have been served up a soft ball to hit centuries later. What I fear in this, probably more than anything else -- since our fight is not against these people, but against rulers, principalities and spiritual forces of evil -- is that civil unions are not enough, even state-granted marriage licenses is not enough. I think there will be lawsuits to FORCE churches to allow gay weddings to happen in their facilities because they're "such pretty, large buildings" or something that masks the true cause. (IMHO)

It came up in conversation last night, how almost funny it is that non-Christians, under common grace, get to marry and so demonstrate (unwittingly) the union between Christ and His church.

These two are pretty unevenly matched. Perez is pretty out of his league I would say here.

I like his point about man/woman = big differences as they pertain to being human. Black/white = no significant difference that pertain to human being human.

every other time I've seen Perez Hilton, he's been dressed in neon colors and had yellow and pink hair. it's odd seeing him try to play a grown up here. hahahahah.
