The only infomercial that actually delivers: P90x. I have three or four friends who have done the whole 90days and the body transformation has been quite substantial. Six days a week, an hour a day, for 90 days. I have done a few of the workouts already, but not the whole program. It certainly is not easy. If you are serious about getting in shape (and doing it all from home!) you might want to look into it.
Trying to keep this in mind as I proceed:
1 Timothy 4:8 - ...for while bodily training is of some value, godliness is of value in every way, as it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come.
John Piper gives an encouraging related exhortation about caring for our physical bodies:

I happen to be the founder of a fitness site, and we are about to do a 90-day challenge. P90X is a perfect thing to do for 90-days. Would you consider joining us?

I'm really glad I was eating a salad for lunch today while I listened to Piper! Good stuff from him.
Good luck with P90x. It fascinates me. I look forward to hearing more about it.
