Acts29 Assessment Process

We (my wife and I) just finished with our two hour interview with four Acts 29 church planters. Part of the assessment process with Acts 29 is having you sit down with others church planters who are already doing it and have them discern if they feel as though you are ready to lead in this way. They asked some really good questions of us and sought to really draw out our hearts in reference to the Gospel, church life, ministry relationships, and outreach. It was intense, but very encouraging.

Tuesday and Wednesday of this week was a typical conference format with speakers and workshops and then today, those who are hoping to plant soon, are assessed and then given feedback and either recommended to not plant, wait, move forward with some recommendations, or simply move forward.

Since I am planting with Scott Sterner, we both submitted to the assessment process. We should hear back from our assessment team in 10-14 days with our results.

All this to say, my experience of spending 3 straight days with many different Acts 29 guys at this "Boot Camp" has done nothing but confirm that these are the types of dudes that we want to align ourselves with.

Hey Zac!
I'm really glad to hear that you are going to be planting an A29 church.
Are you going to be planting it in the ABQ area? Or where?
Just curious.
Thanks.
Matt
