John Thomas answers a really well articulated question from a 24-year-old male who has frequently encountered the perception that men are simply "lust-driven beasts". Read the Q and A here.
Very interesting article and it would be great for young men especially to read and ponder the implications of giving in to the misconception that God cannot control our lusts. Culture shifts more and more towards the idea that doing whatever we want is fine as long as we "protect" ourselves and others. Moral and spiritual considerations are fading. While the focus of the article is, of course, on the idea of a man's disregard for a woman's worth as more than a target of his lust, the truth is the lapse in understanding of God's role in our sexuality is also leading to more and more acceptance of same-sex attraction and the damaging impact it has on individuals who fall for the idea that satisfaction is a goal.
