Learning To Pray Like Paul For Our People

Professor Barrs started our time together this morning asking us to model Paul's prayers for our people. He reminded us that in almost all of Paul's epistles (Galatians being the exception) he begins with two things, 1) praise for the people to which he is writing and 2) a passion for growth in them.

Jerram asked us to go around as a group and name these two things in our people at Desert Springs Church.
1. What evidence of grace do we see in our people? What are we thankful for in them?

2. What are we passionate for our people to become.
He reminded us that we should model this as we pray for our people. I was reminded how we need to make a discipline out of following this model in prayer for those we oversee. It will bless you and your people.
