Another Reason Why Sabbath Is Important

Matt Perman:
“When your brain is always engaged, your best and brightest solutions are not likely to emerge.”
And this only gets at the productivity benefits of unplugging — let alone the intrinsic value of a change of pace and time for reflection.

The Bible makes it clear that we should rest. However we often don't rest in the way that God intended for us to do so, which is seeking Him. That is the main purpose of the Sabbath, to take time out of our busy schedules to really go after Him and His presence. Unfortunately we tend to take that Sabbath and use it to do things that produce no fruit and cause no growth.
