I’ve heard it said many times that “Ministry is a series of hard conversations.” True. I often add that it’s also “committing to hard relationships.” Conversations happen in finite space and time and therefore can be put into context. Relationships are on-going, hard to quantify, and consequently are difficult to process as a whole. Ministry is a careful amalgam of all that.
Here’s some quick advice about hard conversations and managing conflict within relationships with others–whether those relationships are with family, friends, co-workers, or neighbors.
