Thanks for posting this. My husband and I found ourselves in the same situation of making enough to afford our lifestyle as long as we had two incomes. Then I got pregnant and am having to work full-time so we can make our house payments, and am missing out on raising my little daughter. It is very hard and I wish we had made wiser choices earlier. I never considered abortion, but I still have a lot of guilt because my daughter is spending the brunt of her days with a hired sitter instead of her mother. I am well aware of the fact that we're in this situation because, financially, we bit off more than we could chew.
We would sell our house in a heartbeat and rent (or seriously downsize). But with this housing market, no one is even looking, much less making offers, and our house has become a ball and chain.
