Tim Challies links to a very helpful article about the digital revolution that highlights my favorite jazz pianist, Keith Jarrett. For me (who spends quite a bit of time on my computer and iPhone but also practices piano and guitar quite a bit and loves to read books) it was a very encouraging and challenging read.
It also points to why I think I spend of my my musical listening these days away from music that is created with computers and resonate much more deeply with jazz and classical music.
I'll write more about that later though.
If you want to check out some GREAT music by Keith Jarrett and/or his jazz trio I would certainly advise you to get these recordings for sure:
The Köln Concert
Jasmine
Yesterdays
Tokyo 96
Tribute
ECM Touchstones: Standards Live
My Foolish Heart
