Guest Bloggers for Next Week!

This coming week I'll be attending The Gospel Coalition National Conference and taking a week away from blogging.  If you are going to the conference and are frequently getting your daily dose of Vitamin Z, I would love to meet you!

In my absense I have assembled a very strong team of guest bloggers.  Here they are:
Dan Cruver: Before co-founding and directing Together for Adoption, Dan was a college professor of Bible and Theology. He has also served as a pastor of family ministries. As one who has been adopted by God and has adopted two children, Dan founded Together for Adoption to equip churches and educate Christians theologically about orphan care and horizontal adoption. Dan regularly writes and speaks about the Gospel and its implications for solutions to the global orphan crisis. He is the editor and primary author of Reclaiming Adoption: Missional Living Through the Rediscovery of Abba Father, wrote the foreword to Heirs with Christ: The Puritans on Adoption by Dr. Joel Beeke and is a regular contributor to The Gospel Coalition Blog.

Jason Cornwell: Jason Cornwell is a resident of Greenville, SC, where he assists Pastor Brian Habig and the otherelders at Downtown Presbyterian Church (PCA). Originally from Western PA, Jason holds a Bachelor of Science in Music Education and a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies. He earned his Master of Divinity degree from Reformed Theological Seminary-Charlotte in 2006 and is the author of Gospel Quality. Jason has been heavily involved with all three of the Together For Adoption Conferences. In addition to his involvement at Downtown Presbyterian Church, he enjoys reading, eating hot wings and passionately following the Pittsburgh Steelers. Jason is also single. Ladies, take heed.  You can follow Jason at @theCornDog.

Carlos Giego:  Carlos is currently the pastor of college and young adults at Desert Springs Church in Albuquerque, New Mexico.  In the upcoming months he is planning to plant Redemption Church in Rio Rancho, New Mexico.  He is also the chaplain for the famed New Mexico Lobo basketball team under the direction of Steve Alford.  Carlos loves to eat green chile, nerd out on theology books, and watch UFC (though he frequently reminds us that he could get beat up by a third grade girl).  You can follow Carlos at @losgriego.

Doug Wolter:   Doug serves as Family Pastor at LaGrange Baptist Church in LaGrange, Kentucky. He has an amazing wife and three incredible kids who continue to humble him and fill him with joy. He enjoys being with his family and church family, listening to music, reading, exercising and blogging at www.life2getherblog.com.  He also had the esteemed privilege of sharing a house with Zach while attending the University of Northern Iowa
David Jordan:  David is a graduate of Wheaton college where he learned just enough theology to be slightly dangerous.  He loves his iPhone, playing acoustic guitar, and  his gnarly hipster beard.  David is one of the core members of The Vine and helps lead music and is on one of the leadership teams for small groups.  He hails from the great state of WI and loves a good pint while watching the Badgers play their mediocre brand of athletics.  You can follow David at @radioalarm.
Joe CrispinJoe is a professional basketball player. He works overseas for most of each calendar year and usually misses home too much during that time. After a successful basketball career at Penn State University, he has played professionally over the last 10 years in the NBA, ABA, CBA, Greece, Poland, Italy, Spain, Turkey, and back in Italy again. When he is home in the United States, he resides in State College, PA with his wife Erin and their four children - Abigail, Elijah, Naomi, and Isaiah.  In light of his faith in Christ and experience as a professional athlete, Joe loves to talk, speak, and write about sports and competition from a Biblical perspective. He is also a semi-consistent blogger and tweeter, though he does enter seasons where he wants nothing to do with the Internet and his too-highly-valued Macbook Pro.
