I don't care what anyone says... Mark Driscoll is funny. There is some really good stuff here. We should listen and learn well.
Along with this video I would encourage us also to consider this piece from my former Teaching Pastor, Ryan Kelly, on why we might not want to do alter-calls. I wouldn't go so far as to say that alter calls are ALWAYS bad or that God can't or doesn't use them but rather, if we do use them we should take Ryan's warnings very seriously and give lots of qualifications to what salvation actually is and means.

Agreed, Driscoll is very funny.
But I'm not sure its so great that he takes all these pot shots at Calvinists - is the general picture he paints about them really fair?
If not, then I don't think it helps to perpetuate a bad stereotype. Not sure how much of a bridge that really builds?
