Remembering Japan

Guest post by Doug Wolter

My twin brother, Mark Wolter, is a missionary in Japan. Recently, he had the opportunity to help bring relief to some of the most devasted areas of this country. He brought needed supplies, dug mud out of houses, dumped out damaged items, made hundreds of rice balls for people in evacuation centers, encouraged and played with the children there, and washed the feet of those in the centers while listening to them.
"The whole experience," Mark said, "has made me realize that in great suffering there is also great blessing."
