A Post To Say Thanks

Hey there TakeYourVitaminZ readers.  In a few weeks I will have been writing this blog for seven years.  I can't believe I have been doing this that long.  It's been challenging, sometimes discouraging, really fun, informative, and helped me to connect with tons of people that I wouldn't have otherwise.  I don't know how long I'll keep doing this but for right now I am really enjoying it and hope you are too.

Today I wanted to write a quick post to say thanks to you all, the readers, for reading consistently, providing comments, and supporting this site by clicking on my Amazon links and other ads that I have posted.

December 2011 was one of my best months ever in terms of revenue and I simply wanted to say thanks to so many of you for supporting this site and my family .  As a church planter,  we are not fully supported by our church yet and probably won't be for another few years.  As a result, I have to find other streams of income (fundraising, blog, part-time job, jazz gigs, etc) as the sole breadwinner for our family and since you support this blog my family and I would like to say a huge collective THANK YOU for all your help.

As you consider 2012, would you consider continuing to be on my "Amazon" team?  Instead of going to Wal-Mart or wherever, stay home, click on this blog, click on my ad for Amazon in the top right (or at the bottom of my RSS feed if you read that way) and then just go and buy whatever you want.  My family has switched to this system and it has consistently paid off (pun completely intended).  We also have a Prime membership which gives us free two day shipping and usually pays for itself after about two months given the amount of things we buy now from Amazon.  So in sum:

1.  It's cheaper.
2.  It's easier (no waiting in lines, etc).
3.  It helps support what I do here and my family.
4.  It gives you cardboard boxes for your kids to play with.

Again, thank you, thank you, a thousand times, thank you.  In the truest sense, I couldn't do this without you.
