If you have any shred of affection for the game of basketball you'll want to listen to this interview between Bill Simmons (Grantland.com) and Magic Johnson. At around 24 or 25 minutes in Magic tells the story of the 1992 Olympic basketball team and one famous practice they had. Evidently things got pretty heated between the best players on the planet. Imagine all those players... Magic, Larry, MJ, Stockton, Malone, Drexler, Barkley, Ewing going full speed and really competitive.
The way that Magic tells the story is really interesting and touches on our built in desire to behold greatness. This should tell us something about joy in God.
