Owen Strachan writes a great post regarding a leader's responsibility to take responsibility, whether it is good for him or not. He cites Joe Biden and Kobe Bryant of examples of how not to lead. And he's right.
From a personal standpoint, I spent a few months with the Lakers during my rookie season and have to say that Smush is sadly not exaggerating. I hate to say it, but Kobe is his own worst enemy when it comes to winning championships. I can't tell you how many times I have said to people that if Kobe could lead, he would have easily won at least another 2 championships. But alas, he really doesn't get it. And his latest comments make that plain.
