Kermit Gosnell Found Guilty on Three First-Degree Murder Charges

LifeNews.com:
The jury in the murder trial of abortion practitioner Kermit Gosnell returned a verdict and found him guilty on three of the four first-degree murder charges he faced.

Gosnell was found guilty of killing Baby A, Baby C and Baby D and found not guilty of killing Baby E. He was also convicted on hundreds of lesser charges ranging from infanticide to running a corrupt organization.

The guilty verdict on these three counts subjects the abortion “doctor” to the potential he will face the death penalty when a second jury considers his sentencing on the convictions.

Gonell was also found guilty of involuntary manslaughter in the death of patient Karnamaya Mongar, who died after a botched abortion.

One local reporter covering the trial indicated Gosnell “heard verdict passively, with small bitter faced smiles.” A Fox news reporter added, “Our Fox producer in the courtroom says Gosnell looked mad when the verdicts were read.”

Multiple reports indicate an assistant prosecutor sobbed as the verdict was read.
Yes, he is guilty.

But I'd say we are all guilty.

We enabled this culture of abortion. Gosnell is simply the logical conclusion of it.  It's rather nauseating for people to be enraged by this situation if you are pro-choice or vote for a pro-choice candidate.  Gosnell danced upon the legal line.  Sure.  Guilty as charged. But there shouldn't be a line in the first place.  If you are pro-choice and enraged by this situation are you less enraged if he killed the babies six inches farther up inside the woman?  We going to be enraged by a few inches?  This is silly logic at best.

We, as a nation, have created Gosnell.  We all need to repent.

Yup.

I think (and I'm praying it's true) that Gosnell will cause a shift in the abortion debate.
