Tomorrow I'll start my first self-imposed blog fast. We are going to back to the motherland of the Midwest to visit family so I thought now would be a good time to release the chains of the blog for a few days.
Check out our trip itinerary and you can tell me if you think we are insane:
-Leave today at 4pm
-Fly from ABQ to Omaha
-We get into Omaha at midnight (the plane tix were very cheap)
-Spend the night in Omaha and then get up and drive to Cedar Falls, IA (4 hour drive)
-Two days in Cedar Falls with my family
-Drive up to the Hastings, MN area (4 hour drive) to be with Kim's mom. 2 days there.
-Drive to Sioux Falls, SD to be with Kim's sister (4 hour drive). Two days there.
-Drive back to Omaha and fly back to ABQ.
Keep in mind the following conditions:
1. Three kids in a minivan on these long drives can be dicey.
2. Weather in the Midwest around this time of year can be even more dicey.
We are praying that something like this or like this does not happen this year. If so, you'll probably have some interesting Vitamin Z reading to do when I get back.

You'll do great. No problem. Do you have a DVD player for the minivan? That is my only suggestion.
I will miss my Vitamin Z for these days you are gone. How will I spend nap time now?
