PushUpDate - Beginning of Week 5 - 2nd Time


I got day 1 of week 5 knocked out today. After failing miserably with it last Monday, I had to repeat week 5 starting today and I finished the workout with 42 on my max set (min of 40). Here is what I had to do today with 60 seconds rest between sets:

Max set (go until failure) - Minimum of 40 - I got 42, last week I only got 9 on this set.

Great Job, Z! I am impressed with your dedication and gains. I have been trying to do more push-ups lately also. Can I ask you - How do you make sure that you don't cheat? (Not going down far enough, not sagging in the middle, etc.)?
p.s. Wish we could see you this summer while we are in Iowa! I don't think we can make it down to NM.

I just fire them out as fast as I can. I don't lock out my arms everytime, I don't think I would ever get to it that way. Fast and quick...

Glad to hear about your miserable failure last week; yesterday, for my max on day 1 of week 5 I did 7 and collapsed.
