What's amazing about all this is how many children were about at 32 weeks gestation. I know someone who delivered her baby prematurely at 32 weeks. The baby was only 2 lbs. 7 oz, about 2 lbs. smaller than an average baby of that gestational age, yet she is doing fine now. The baby hasn't had any developmental delays despite her premature delivery and being a micropreemie at birth.
How is that we can save preemature babies and yet still legally allow the killing of babies of the same size and gestation? I'll never understand...
