I think this meant to ridicule NASCAR and its audience at least as much as it ridicules the World Cup and its audience.
AWESOME!I have enjoyed some World Cup, though soccer in general can be boring at times, especially MLS. But there is nothing, and I MEAN NOTHING, more boring than car racing, NASCAR, Formula 1, Indy, whatever.
