What do you think of this? Agree or disagree (I have some concerns) this is probably something that needs to be thought through. I am sensing that the type of Christianity mainly expressed here is becoming more and more popular. I could be wrong, but this type of discussion seems to imply the old "deeds not creeds" mantra that creates an extremely problematic false dichotomy. Unfortunately, I didn't hear much about the message of The Gospel. (RSS, you might need to click through to view.)

This is what Glen Beck (again, I'm not a fan) was referring to when he talked about the "social justice" buzzwords in modern evangelical churches. This stuff is dangerous, and it's creeping in everywhere. This is an effort to advance a liberal political agenda under the auspices of Christianity.
Note that they won't even *verbalize* the evil of abortion, yet simultaneously position "educational inequality" above the death of a million kids per year on the scale of what we should be focused on.
This is quietly building momentum in modern evangelical Christianity, and is staggeringly dangerous.
Hmm, I'm having a hard time viewing, but I think I know what to expect by reading the comment and post.
Those people don't worship the same God that I do.
Can you repost this? I can't find it and even tried the ABC News website.
