New Music from Shai Linne

Shai Linne has released a new CD. For those of you who have not heard of him, think Reformed Hip-Hop. Very interesting and creative stuff. I wrote about his previous record here. On that record you don't want to miss his song on Limited Atonement or his Hip-Hop version of the Heidelberg Catecism.

This new one sounds very promising as well. You can check it out here on AmazonMP3 or Shai Linne - Storiez.

Shai Linne (and Lampmode Recordings in general) is the BOMB! Yes, a 35-year-old white guy just wrote that! :-)

In my opinion, Lampmode is simply putting out the best hip-hop, period, since the early to mid-90s. Timothy Brindle's "Killing Sin" is the best hip-hop CD that I have heard since Public Enemy's "Fear of a Black Planet" back in 1990! Lampmode guys and gals, *please* put "Killing Sin" back in your store soon, for the people who didn't get a chance to buy it when it was first available!

Have you heard Lecrae's new Rebel album? It's been chewing up my CD player for weeks.

Loved Shai Linne's Romans track on the 13 Letters album. I'll have to check this out.

Shai Linne's music is off da' hook. Love the mix of sound Christian theology and creative lyricism. I hope to get Timothy Bindle's album one day, when Lampmode decides to start distributing it again.
